I am glad to have Melissa to look after my two cats when I'm away. She not only follows
instructions, but sees to things as they may arise, like taking the initiative to turn up the
heat when the temperature suddenly dropped one time. The diary of visits is great to see
when I get back because I know she's taken the time to see how the kitties are really
doing and report back to me. She's reliable and trustworthy and has helped out even
on short notice, too. A real helpful gal who loves the "kids".

Melissa has pet sit for Rouge, an active Australian Cattle Dog-German Shepherd Mix. She is responsible and caring and Rouge responds well to her. She walks him regularly, grooms
him and meets his needs when we are out of town. I recommend Melissa, I'm sure you will

Melissa did a wonderful job taking care of my two dogs while I was away. They both loved having her stay with them so much they
didn't even miss me as much as they usually do. You could almost say she spoiled them rotten but it was just amount of care they deserve.

I am writing in support and recommendation of Melissa Triester and her pet sitting service “Melissa’s
Pet Sitters.” Melissa came for a week to “babysit” my dog and cat earlier this year. Her services were
excellent. She visited before her scheduled sitting to meet my dog and cat, to learn their routines, and to
learn the schedules for house sitting, like trash pick-up and milk delivery. She certainly surpassed my
expectations of a pet sitter. At no point was I concerned for the well being of our pets or the security
of our home. Melissa’s motto, “only you can love them more” rings very true. After she left, I even
wondered if she loved my pets more that I do. My dog certainly hated to see her leave. I recommend

We could not have been happier with Melissa and the excellent service she provided to us as a Pet Sitter and House Sitter when we
went on an out of country vacation recently. Our rescue dog has severe separation anxiety and can't be left alone for any period of time.
We were referred to Melissa and we knew during the intake interview that both our dog and our cat would be in great hands, but more
importantly, that Melissa sincerely cared and understood how important our pets are.

Melissa did a thorough initial interview with us on our initial "meet and greet". She wanted to know the specifics about our pets' feeding,
exercising, medications, where they sleep, and most importantly, she wanted to understand how to handle the behavioral issues with
our dog. We'd consulted with an animal behaviorist and had developed a positive conditioning routine to help our dog, Modi to learn to
tolerate short departures, building to longer ones. She asked detailed questions about the exercises, how we did them, how often and
she took detailed notes, so she could keep up their normal routine.

Because we were so concerned about leaving our dog and cat for a week, we asked Melissa if she'd check in with us while we were
on vacation. Melissa called us every couple of days and put our minds at ease. Modi was getting his medication, was having a great
time with Melissa and wasn't exhibiting any problem behavior issues.

We took advantage of the her airport drop-off and pick-up service and it made the trip that much better. No stress about finding parking
on the way to the airport and pickup outside the airport the night we got back was priceless and well worth the small additional fee. We'd
have paid more for gas and parking.

Finally, Melissa surprised us with a lovely welcome home. She had detailed reports waiting for us upon our return and things at the
house were just perfect.

It was the most relaxing vacation we've ever taken and it was due, in large part to knowing that we didn't have a thing to worry about
with the pets we love so much.

Melissa is a caring professional and she's given us a new peace of mind in knowing that there is a loving, professional, trustworthy
person we can count on to care for our "special needs" animals when we need her. She absolutely lived up to her motto, "Only you
